For long time had not I noticed until someday I was shocked by a pop up ads which appeared after I made click on a link on my own site (not this one, but another one Indoresep). From the ads shown by the pop up window, I then knew that the ads was not mine, means I never put any scripts of the ads.

I tried to trace my html page and the javascript but that time I always missed, I ensured myself that there were no link nor script related with the ads. From the
address bar, the ads showed this address:

http://91.121.87.136:84/promo.php?compte=773015665523&path=009162&lg=na&cat=house&sous_cat=cook&lg_nav=en 

I then googled the IP address, 91.121.87.136:84. But no valuable information available. Several times and for several days, then tired, bored and forgotten. Months passed by, the pop up always appeared when you clicked on any parts of a page, a link or empty space. Only on first click, the next ones were okey, no pop ups would have appreared. However it was annoying, especially when you browsed via mini opera from your mobile device. It was stuck.

Until few hours ago, when I reviewed again the link of pop up ads mentioned above, suddenly and coincidently I noticed what I never had done before, "cat=house&sous_cat=cook&lg_nav=en". Category house and category cook. Those are the categories under which I registered my site on a free blog/site counter named Geovisite[dot]com. Also the numbers 773015665523 is my site id for a counter from geovisite[dot]com. I found it from the code of script of my site/blog counter which was always missed from my careless eyes (I put the code on a .js file).

I made a request to the admin of geovisite[dot]com to disable the pop-up, and via email they reacted that they already disabled it. But I myself had removed the script from my html pages, and am still reluctant to place it again. I don't know maybe later or maybe never.

Meanwhile I never know the IP address 91.121.87.136:84 whom belongs to. And the ads which appeared on the pop up windows, could be different from country to country because it is available worldwide. If you visit geovisite.com you will see that the site is an affiliate of an ad-network from which the ads on the pop up window are.
